Tasks
Develop repair solutions for mechanical items and mechatronic modules.
Design and create detailed technical drawings and documentation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external parties to analyse defective components and develop robust repair methods.
Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product reliability and performance.
Typical Items:
Utility dynamic links (bundles of utility lines such as cables and hoses connecting stationary systems to moving systems)
Motorized modules (e.g., shutters and elevators)
Pneumatic actuators (e.g., clamping units and valves)
Activities Involved in Developing Repair Solutions:
Failure mode analysis
Identify failure modes and determine the most effective corrective measures.
Define action items
- Define the disassembly process for the part or module.
- Define the repair approach for each failure mode, including component replacement where required.
- Define the reassembly process for the repaired module. - Define required tools
Specify assembly tools and/or build jigs as needed
Qualification
- Define how repaired items will be qualified.
- Determine which tools and testers are required.
- Define the tester setup process.
- Design dedicated testers when required.
Requirements
Education&Experience
Bachelor or Master Technical University graduate in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Physics and etc.
