Key Responsibilities
- Reporting: Prepare monthly financial reports (P/L, B/S, receivables, cash flow forecast) and ensure timely delivery to APAC and HQ, including reconciliation between accounting and reporting.
- Analyzing: Analyze variances between actuals, budget, and past results, provide insights, and support ad-hoc financial requests from regional and HQ teams.
- Planning: Lead budgeting (OP) and forecasting (FC 1/2/3), collect division inputs, and ensure timely submission of planning templates to APAC and HQ.
- Controlling: Monitor profitability and expenses, ensure compliance with internal controls, and support internal control activities and documentation.
- Accounting: Oversee outsourced accounting operations, manage intercompany transactions, support month-end closing, and review tax filings (VAT, WHT, CIT).
- Auditing: Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation, responding to queries, and maintaining statutory financial records and statements.
- Treasury: Manage payment processes, SAP PO/NPO, eBAM banking system, and expense claims within the assigned division.
- Information Technology: Support SAP maintenance and financial system implementation, and participate in group projects related to accounting, reporting, and planning.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (or equivalent strong financial background).
- Experience:
8+ years
in finance roles including budgeting, forecasting, analysis, reporting, accounting, and audit; multinational company experience preferred.
- Core Skills: Strong analytical and synthesis abilities, solid communication skills, proactive mindset, able to work independently and in teams.
- Knowledge & Tools: Bilingual in Korean and English, ERP experience (SAP required), advanced Excel skills, knowledge of K-GAAP and IFRS (preferred), and basic tax understanding.
